Authentic former "boys'" village school steeped in history, dating from the late 19th century and typical of the "Third Republic", restored & revisited by the commune as a Gîte de groupe (with enclosed grounds), quietly located in the heart of a peaceful & picturesque little Burgundy village, nestled at the crossroads of the Charollais & Clunisois regions, 10 km from the shopping village of Saint-Bonnet-de-Joux (small shops on site, including a supermarket) & 15 km from the charming medieval town of Mont-Saint-Vincent, one of Burgundy's most beautiful sites with a literally unique "panoramic belvedere" offering breathtaking 360° views over 14 départements, from Mont-Blanc to Puy de Dôme! Total tranquility in the midst of rolling countryside, perfectly preserved (largely protected in various "Natura 2000" & "ZNIEFF" zones for its remarkable ecosystems), combining magnificent bocages & beautiful wild forests, between agriculture & nature, nestled in the verdant Guye valley, not far from the first vineyards. Ideally located on the Romanesque churches circuit, the GR7 & various signposted footpaths (adjoining a vast network of signposted "balades vertes" hiking trails criss-crossing the area, to be explored on foot or mountain bike), 6.5 km from the GR76, 14 km from a cycle route connected to EuroVélo6 & to the Voie Verte of the "Tour de Bourgogne à Vélo" (following the famous Canal du Centre), 20 km from the Voie Verte of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du sud", not far from several referenced "loops coup de cœur" (4 routes accessible within a radius of around 20 km) and the vineyards of the Côtes Chalonnaises & Mâconnais ("Route des Grands Vins" & "Route des Vins de Bourgogne" to explore). Prime central location in the very heart of southern Burgundy, at the crossroads of Tournugeois-Clunisois ("Pays d'Art et d'Histoire" label), Chalonnais, Mâconnais & Charolais-Brionnais ("Pays d'Art et d'Histoire" label). Ideal for exploring: 19 km from the medieval village of Saint-Gengoux-le-National ("Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté" label), 24 km from Charolles, 24 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 20 km from Taizé (& its famous religious community), 37 km from Paray-le-Monial, 37 km from La Clayette, 38 km from Le Creusot (famous Les Combes amusement park / Creusot TGV station 32 km away), 41 km from Tournus, 44 km from the sublime landscaped jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson, classified as a "Grand Site de France", 45 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (classified as a "Ville d'Art et d'Histoire") & 47 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 45 km away). The perfect "refuge" for a relaxing getaway with your family, at low prices!

    Sejour groupe
