Treat yourself to a break in the very heart of the vineyards, on the land of the famous "Saint-Amour" cru, just a stone's throw from the no less famous "Moulin à Vent" & "Saint-Véran" crus! Comfortable Bed and breakfast - totally independent & with private terrace - nestled in an authentic winegrower's building dating from the end of the 19th century, completely renovated, nestled in the Countryside in the heart of the Beujolais vineyards (the first vineyard in the world to be recognized as a "UNESCO World Geopark"), at the very southern tip of Burgundy, on the borders of the Mâconnais & Haut Beaujolais mountains, in a small rural & winegrowing hamlet adjoining the charming, typical village of Saint-Amour-Bellevue, 5 km from the vast sales agent zone of Crêches-sur-Saône (all amenities on site) & 12 km from Mâcon (Burgundy's most southern city). Sublime setting & surrounding landscapes, nestled on an exposed hillside on a vast plateau of vineyards overlooking the Saône valley, bordering the gentle Arlois valley in the extension of the sumptuous landscaped jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson labelled "Grand Site de France" (11 km away), very close to the banks of the Saône (partly classified as a "Zone Natura 2000" for its very rich ecosystem, notably ornithological) & a vast wild forest massif. An ultra-privileged Location on the route of several signposted "balades vertes" trails (a vast network of similar paths connected to the GR76, winding between vineyards & nature in the area, to be explored on foot or mountain bike), a referenced mountain bike circuit (adjoining a vast signposted "espace VTT" criss-crossing the massif), the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne", adjacent to the nearby Romanesque church circuit, 6 km from the GR76, 6 km from the "Voie Bleue" connected to the EuroVélo17 cycle route (both running along the Saône), 9 km from the Voie Verte ("Grande Boucle Bourgogne du Sud") & 9 km from a 17 km "boucle vélo coup de cœur". Prime location at the crossroads of Rhône & Ain, Mâconnais, Beaujolais, Clunisois-Tournugeois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire") & Bresse de l'Ain. Ideal for easy access to several départements (A6 & RCEA connection 8 km away): 8 km from the renowned Touroparc Zoo amusement & wildlife park, 8 km from the Mâcon Loché TGV station, 8.5 km from the renowned "Hameau Dubœuf" (Europe's 1st vineyard & wine theme park!), 17 km from Belleville-en-Beaujolais, 23 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais), 28 km from the famous abbey town of Cluny, 31 km from Villefranche-sur-Saône, 45 km from Tournus & 47 km from Bourg-en-Bresse. A soothing cocoon of charm - including paid access to a Nordic bath for stays of 2 nights or more - for all wine and nature lovers!

Christine & Michel open the doors to a carefully restored, authentic late 19th-century winegrowing building steeped in history (once linked to the neighboring winery still in operation), nestled on the edge of the vineyards of the famous "Saint-Amour" cru, in a peaceful rural winegrowing hamlet, a stone's throw from the picturesque, perfectly preserved village of Saint-Amour-Bellevue. In the heart of unspoilt Countryside (partly protected as a ZNIEFF for its wealth of flora & fauna), close to a large wild forest, at the crossroads of the northern Beaujolais vineyards ("UNESCO World Geopark") & the Côtes Mâconnaises, bordering the gentle Arlois valley (the only one in Burgundy producing both southern Burgundy and northern Beaujolais wines). Magnificent landscaped setting, in a sublime undulating vineyard setting, on a hillside on a vast exposed plateau covered with vineyards, offering sumptuous panoramic views over the Val de Saône, the Alps & as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day! Very comfortable rooms. Warm country charm with contemporary accents, enhanced by an elegant original stone wall. Cosy atmosphere. En quoi le confort pose t-il question? Que faut il améliorer ?
