Ranceau

Located on the shores of a 5-hectare private pond, the Ranceau holiday cottage welcomes you for a relaxing stay. This charming, detached house features the following on the ground floor: living room, fully equipped kitchen, and separate restroom. There is also a 20 m² room for bicycles and various equipment. Upstairs: 1 bedroom (1 bed, 140x190), 1 bedroom (2 beds, Cot 80x190), gaming room, bathroom, and separate toilet.

Located 2 km from Saint-Saulge, the “City of Legends,” in the heart of the Nièvre region—a paradise for mountain biking. You’ll enjoy nature and all it has to offer: fishing, exploring the local flora and fauna, and Forest walks. You can visit the cities of Nevers, Château-Chinon (capital of the Morvan), Châtillon-en-Bazois, Vézelay, and the Morvan lakes: Les Settons and Pannecière.

Accommodations are not accessible to people with limited mobility. Fishing is available in the pond for an additional fee payable on site (€25/person for 1 week – €40/person for 2 weeks – €55/person for 3 weeks). You may fish from the designated dock. Fishing from a boat on the pond is prohibited.

Requests from business travelers are accepted outside of school vacation periods. The holiday cottage is not certified as a “Fishing cottage.”

Utilities and options:
Electric heating (€15/week) and firewood at an additional cost.
End-of-stay cleaning available for an additional fee (70€) / for businesses, mandatory cleaning: 100€.
Bed linens rental: 7€ for 1 person / 14€ for 2 people
Bath towels rental: 5€ per person
