This former 18th-century thatched cottage will seduce you with its charm and verdant surroundings. Authentic and comfortable, you'll be staying in a genuine traditional Morvan house.
You'll find a flower-filled garden, where you can relax in a space where life is good. You'll be close to many sporting and cultural activities. Located in the center of Burgundy, you'll be able to explore and discover this beautiful region, rich in history and heritage. The house is a great base for walks (PR on site and GR 500m away, mountain bike trails, the GTM), and its proximity to large lakes and rivers means you can enjoy a wide range of whitewater sports and swimming.
The first floor comprises a large living room with an open fireplace and direct access to the garden. The kitchen is housed in the old bread oven. Bathroom with bath and WC. Upstairs: 1 bedroom (1 bed 140/200 cm and 1 baby bed), 1 bedroom (3 beds 90 cm), WC, access to terrace. Private parking. Baby Equipment available.
Sightseeing nearby: 20 km from Vézelay and its Romanesque Basilica, the castles of Bazoches and Chastellux, Bibracte and numerous Gallo-Roman sites, the prehistoric caves of Arcy sur cure, the Nivernais Canal, a little further afield the medieval Guédelon construction site, Fontenay Abbey and the not-so-distant Burgundy Vineyards.... An ideal place to spend a vacation with family or friends.

Anne-Sophie Très beau séjour, gîte très cosy où on se sent bien.
Très bon séjour dans le Morvan. Une région magnifique que nous avons eu plaisir de découvrir. Le gîte est très bien situé, proche de nombreux sites touristiques et randonnées.

Allison&Alexandre Un séjour agréable & reposant
Nous avons passé une semaine dans ce gîte avec nos deux enfants et c’était parfait !
L’accueil des propriétaires, le cadre, le gîte tout était au rendez-vous et à la hauteur de nos espérances :)Le gîte est confortable et bien équipé : nous nous y sommes vite sentis très bien! Petit plus avec le jardin à l’arrière + la terrasse à l’étage
Il est bien situé car proche de plusieurs sites d’intérêts (lac de Chaumecon, lac de Crescent, château de Chastellux ou de Vauban, Vezelay, etc).Merci à nos hôtes pour ce beau séjour :)

Gildas et Sandrine Un havre de paix au coeur du Morvan
La maison est authentique et très bien équipée. Le jardin appelle le voyageur de passage à s'y allonger. Par temps chaud la maison reste fraîche.
Sylvia et Étienne sont à l'écoute et très généreux. Pour les familles avec des petits c'est un cadre idéal et sécurisé.
Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir dans la région, lacs, châteaux, forêts, grottes, parc animalier, villages etc...- Cleanliness

SYLVAIN Nous avons réservé le gîte une semaine. Un enchantement. Les hôtes sont charmants et aux petits soins. L'environnement est tout simplement merveilleux, lové près de la forêt, calme, fleurs, faune tout pour y passer d'excellents moments. Il ne manque rien, c'est rustique et frais, confort, literie, mobilier vaisselle, électroménager, c'est parfait. Merci.

Pieter Quite, authentic and comfortable hide-away in the Morvan
A very authentic and well-kept, fully detached cottage in the hearth of the Morvan. We felt very much at home from the first moment that we arrived. The cottage is well-kept, using original materials such oak beams, stone walls and a beautiful tiled floor. Sylvia and Etienne have decorated the place with great care. Furniture, cabinets and other decorative materials fit perfectly with the style of the building. Yet, staying at the 4 seasons Gite is a comfortable experience. The kitchen is supplied with many amenities, beds are of good quality and all is kept in good shape. We loved the great sunny terrace at the back side and the extra roof terrace to enjoy the sun set later on the day. One experiences an absolute privacy while staying at the 4 Seasons.
