Charming, traditionally renovated, detached house close to the owners' home. It comprises a large living room with kitchenette. Lower floor: 1 bedroom (1 x 160cm bed), 1 bedroom (2 x 90cm twin beds). 1 Umbrella bed, 1 high chair, 1 Kids bath available. Bathroom, WC. Fiber-optic internet connection (high-speed and unlimited consumption).
Awning, Terrace with garden furniture. On the edge of the GR13 on 800 m² of unfenced land. Water sports on the Settons and Pannecière lakes, Fishing possible (subject to legislation). Close to Château-Chinon, Bibracte and Anost, and a 30-minute drive from the cities of Autun and Saulieu. Pets not allowed.

Heating and electricity extra according to meter reading above 8kwh per day.

Our gîte is set in the heart of the Morvan Regional Nature Park, on the edge of the GR13. A former sheepfold, on a hillside, in a tiny hamlet of 6 granite houses, all over a century old, we wanted to use only the traditional materials of Morvan houses when renovating it: thick granite walls, local stone frames, small pieces of furniture or shelves made from the oak planks of the former sheepfold, ash staircase, Douglas fir ceiling.
The shutters have been painted in one of the colours formerly used in the Morvan Park.
New hedges have been added to the old ones. Hazel, beech, ash, hornbeam, holly and willow give privacy to the grounds of the gîte, so that, we hope, our guests will feel at home during their stay.

W1W1 Une parenthèse ressourçante...
Parenthèse dans notre vie de fous qui nous rappelle que la nature, dans toute sa simplicité, est un luxe impalpable. Maisonnette pleine de charme dans un écrin de verdure, rustique mais bien équipée et confortable, calme et repos garantis, tout est réuni pour oublier nos quotidiens, les chambres sont certes fraiches mais nous on aime ça. Merci aux propriétaires de nous avoir permis d'utiliser le poêle à bois super efficace sans compter en échange du ménage qui ne pouvait être effectué à l'issue du séjour. Le réseau téléphonique est quasi nul (un bonheur !!) mais la connexion internet de la maison est très bonne si vous limitez raisonnablement les appareils connectés. Pas mal de sites avec balades à découvrir dans un rayon d'une demi-heure en voiture (indispensable!).Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour, c'est un peu plus compliqué avec des enfants ou des ados, donc prévoir de prendre des jeux d'intérieur et d'extérieur (une table de ping-pong aurait été la cerise sur le gâteau !)

Karo Très joli gîte au cœur de la forêt
