15 km from Nevers, La Parisienne des Amôgnes offers you, in an old renovated setting (half 19th century longère), in enclosed grounds of 5000 m2, an air-conditioned bedroom on the ground floor with a 160x200 bed, TV, en-suite shower room (large shower, 120x90) and separate wc. Upstairs, another large bedroom, also with a 160x200 bed, TV, en-suite shower room and toilet. Private parking. In fine weather, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside (particularly appreciated by our guests) on the chaise longue, or stroll through the Amôgnes to discover the wash-houses and Gallo-Roman springs (3km), the Romanesque church (listed as a historic monument) in the village of Montigny, or other sights such as the La Machine mine museum, the Magny-cours racetrack (27km) and, of course, the City of Nevers (City of Art and History) with its earthenware museum. We also welcome Compostelle pilgrims on foot or by bike! You can ask for our table d'hôtes (by prior reservation only, 29€/person) with local produce (homemade), much appreciated by travelers who want to rest after a long journey, and there are no restaurants in the vicinity. If you're allergic to pet hair, beware: the house is home to two kittens and a friendly, docile dog, who will be delighted to welcome you.
