La Cuvellerie is a 17th century manor house, shown on the first Napoleonic cadastral map of 1827. We need to continue our research to go back in time...

Its name, printed on a postcard from 1902, refers to the manufacture of casings for iron mine tunnels, made from oak from our forests. Make no mistake, rue de l'enfer doesn't lead you to hell, but to the mine!

This house remained uninhabited, almost abandoned, for 40 years. It took us around 7 years to restore it in several stages.
