First floor: large living room with darts and billiards, library and gaming room, dining room, wc. Wifi only in the living room (not in the bedrooms). 1st floor: Alphabet room with 2 beds 90x190 cm, Planète room with 1 bed 140x200, Récré room with 1 bed 140x190, Poësie room with 1 bed 140x190, and Marelle room with 1 bed 140x200 and 1 trundle bed (2 beds 90x190), each with private bathroom. Baby bed, high chair and bathtub available on request. Former schoolhouse, hence the names of the rooms and the childlike decor with furniture reminiscent of childhood. Central heating. Enjoy the large garden. Shelter for motorcycles and bicycles. Table d'hôtes and picnic lunches available, by reservation only 48 hours in advance. Holiday cottage next door 58G1137 sleeps 4. Theme weekends are available (hiking, comic book relaxation, antique wooden games and board games).
Table d'hôtes and picnic meals available (€10/person), only on reservation 48 hours in advance: starter, main course, dessert, glass of wine offered at €18/person. Priority given to local produce. Free dinner for Kids up to 6 years, and dinner at 13€ for Kids 6 to 13 years. To be booked directly with the owner via the contact form.

WELCOME TO THE HAMLET OF SAVAULT
"Savaul'détour" is a former school in the heart of the Morvan Regional Nature Park, in the commune of Ouroux-En-Morvan (Nièvre 58). This large village (sacra Vallis) owes its name to the valley in which it is built. On an isolated knoll overlooking it stands a chapel, rebuilt over the centuries, but whose origins date back to earliest antiquity. Savault is also the birthplace of the sculptor Jean Gautherin, who was born here on 19 December 1840. A talented sculptor, he created a number of statues that can still be seen in Paris, Nevers and Copenhagen.
An ideal place to stroll and relax, come and enjoy the unspoilt countryside. You'll fall under the spell of this place. It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries and unwind. You can also come for a hike (on foot, mountain bike, gravel bike, motorbike, quad, car...), to fish (in the lake or river), to observe the Milky Way, to enjoy water sports activities or museum visits...
Savaul'détour has the pleasure of welcoming you all year round to its 5 bedrooms, its table d'hôtes and self-catering cottages. So, more than just tourist accommodation, it's an art of living and a philosophy of life that we'd like to share with you.

La météo n’a peut-être pas été de la partie, mais savoir que vous avez tout de même passé un excellent week-end et profité de votre séjour en famille nous fait vraiment plaisir.
Nous sommes ravis que le repas d’hôtes et l’ambiance conviviale aient contribué à ce bon moment partagé. Ici, on dit souvent que la pluie reste dehors… mais que la bonne humeur finit toujours par entrer !

Bonjour,
Merci pour votre retour ! Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié l’accueil et la souplesse de la maison. C’est vrai, nos chambres jouent la carte de la simplicité et du propre on préfère miser sur l’essentiel (et sur le sourire ).
Concernant le savon : ce n’est pas un oubli, mais un choix volontaire. Les petits savons individuels finissent souvent à la poubelle à peine utilisés, et ça fait beaucoup de gaspillage. Nous préférons donc limiter cette pratique, pour être un peu plus respectueux de l’environnement .
Quant aux toiles d’araignées… on fait la chasse ! Mais les demoiselles à huit pattes sont des habitantes du Morvan têtues et rapides. On s’excuse si certaines ont réussi à se faufiler incognito. ️
