Les Isles

Ideally located at the foot of Château-Chalon and on the banks of the Seille, a protected river, come and recharge your batteries in this little corner of paradise in the heart of nature. On the first floor, you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen with adjoining living area and unobstructed view of the village of Château-Chalon, as well as a living room with TV and DVD player for relaxing evenings with your partner, family or friends. Upstairs, two spacious bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and WCs are sure to please. For your comfort, beds will be made up on arrival and towels provided. Outside, you can enjoy the garden in front of the house, complete with garden furniture and barbecue. Nearby, you'll find plenty to liven up your discovery days in the Jura; visit two of France's most beautiful villages, Château-Chalon and Baumes-les-Messieurs; hike in the vineyards, waterfalls, caves, abbeys, cellar tours and wine tasting are just some of the tourist attractions on offer. All amenities are in the village center, a 10-minute walk away. Bike rental is available from the tourist office in the village center. We'll give you a warm welcome and be happy to answer any questions you may have about your stay.
The owners: We are Marion and Jean-Baptiste, recently settled in the Jura. We love discovering the different regions of France. We're keen hikers and love contemplating the remarkable landscapes our new home has to offer. As food lovers, we'll be able to recommend some great places to eat. We'll be delighted to welcome you to our gîte, which is next door to our home, in a peaceful setting by the river and at the foot of the vineyards. Welcoming without being intrusive, we'll also be happy to recommend beautiful hiking trails, some of which pass right by the house. We look forward to meeting you.
