In this soothing, unspoilt setting, time seems to stand still as you appreciate the serenity and magic of the woodwork in this detached chalet. You'll be seduced by the breathtaking 180° view and the cosy atmosphere of this Chalet, which has been awarded the "ecogîte" label: the owners are sensitive to the environment and to short supply chains. The chalet's wood comes from the forests of the Haut Jura. The interior walls are insulated with recycled wool and hemp. We have a water recovery tank on the roof to supply the toilets.
1st floor: large living room with fully-equipped kitchen, sitting room with TV and wood-burning stove, master suite with 160x200 bed and en-suite shower room, separate toilet, storeroom.
Second floor: 1 bedroom with balcony (160x200), 1 bedroom with 2 beds 90x200 (can be twinned to 180x200 on request) and an extra bed (90x190 - extra person accepted on request), 1 bathroom with shower and bath and 1 separate WC.
Beds made on arrival, towels and bathrobes provided.
A large terrace with garden furniture, plancha and deckchairs lets you enjoy the peace and quiet of the site while admiring the surrounding countryside. A year-round Spa will bring you Wellbeing and relaxation after outdoor activities.
A garage with electric door (max. height 2 m) for 1 vehicle.
An electric charging station is available (extra charge).
Ideally located 2 km from the village center, where you'll find all the shops you need (restaurant, supermarket, cheese shop, tobacconist's, bike rental, etc.). Mountain-biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails start from the Holiday cottage, and there's a "fil neige" for learning downhill skiing just 2 kms away. The Chaux Neuve polar park and the Saine and Langouette gorges are ten minutes away.

Hélène Troisième séjour en famille
Il est des adresses que l’on ne voudrait garder que pour soi. Le Chalet de l’Eléphant en fait partie. Celui-ci se trouve au bout d’une impasse où la tranquillité règne. Il domine une vallée bordée de forêts de sapins et la vue y est particulièrement belle.
Mais ce qui fait son originalité, c’est la construction proprement dite du chalet, tout en rondins de bois de la taille de pattes d’éléphants voire même plus ! Et pour ne pas oublier ce pachyderme, le chalet lui a donné son nom, sans oublier une sculpture de sa tête qui trône en haut de la façade.
Vous vous sentirez immédiatement bien dans l’intérieur fait intégralement de bois. C’est une atmosphère unique complétée par la chaleur d’un bon feu de bois !
C’est le troisième séjour que nous y faisons et l’enthousiasme de s’y retrouver en famille ne diminue pas, bien au contraire !
Nous remercions vivement ses propriétaires pour leur accueil toujours aussi charmant, tout comme leurs délicates attentions. C’est toujours un plaisir de les voir et ils ont à cœur que vous passiez un agréable séjour et que vous découvriez toutes les beautés de la région.
