Le gîte de la Maison Blanche

Situated on the edge of the main road leading to Champagnole and Pontarlier at an altitude of 836 m, in a large Comtoise house adjoining the owners', this spacious gîte (170 m²) has been completely renovated to offer maximum comfort. The ground floor comprises a fully-equipped fitted kitchen, a living room with TV and fireplace, a laundry room, a separate toilet, a master suite with 1 double bed and its own shower room with separate toilet. Upstairs: bedroom with double bed, bedroom with 4 single beds, shower room and separate toilet.
For your comfort, beds will be made up on arrival.
Outside: large 600 m² park with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. Closed garage, table soccer, pétanque. As this gîte is located on a farm, it is possible to visit the farm by appointment.
Ideally located for hiking (Joux forest with fir and spruce trees), skiing, cycling, swimming and fishing. Numerous lakes, waterfalls, viewpoints and heritage sites nearby: source bleue, cascades du Hérisson, gorges de la Langouette, medieval town of Nozeroy, Jura vineyards of Baume les Messieurs and Chateau-Chalon. You can also get to Switzerland in less than an hour.
And don't forget to take the time to sample our regional products: Comté, Morbier, Mont d'Or, Morteau sausage, Pontarlier, Absinthe...
Note: small pets accepted on request from the owners, and a wood basket offered per stay.
Possibility of renting the gîte for 2, 4 or 6 people out of season at a preferential rate on request from the owners.
