At "Sur la roche", 6 km from the village of Les Bouchoux, on the Désertin-La Pesse road, 1st-floor accommodation. Perfect for nature lovers. At an altitude of 1150m, the Holiday cottage is an ideal base camp for exploring the lakes, forests, crests and combes of the Haut-Jura. Nearby activities: Hiking, cycling, climbing, swimming and water sports in summer. In winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing (200 km of groomed trails) and dog sledding are just 5 minutes from the Holiday cottage. The family-friendly Les Moussières ski area is 15 minutes away, and the Alpine skiing resorts of Les Rousses and Monts Jura are 40 minutes away.
The Holiday cottage benefits from an independent entrance and an outdoor terrace with private, unenclosed garden (table, deckchairs and barbecue). A covered garage (1 space) is available. The interior is wooded and bright during the day (many windows). The original decor is inspired by South African pastoral traditions.
The Holiday cottage can accommodate up to 8 people. It is organized as follows: Hiking boots and Ski gear can be left to dry in the entrance hall and laundry room. Bikes and sports equipment can also be stored here. Upstairs, there's a double bedroom and a larger mezzanine bedroom with two single beds and a double bed. A double sofa-bed is located in the large living room and can be used to complete the sleeping arrangements. This warm, spacious living-dining room features a large family dining/games table and a popular wood-burning stove. The bathroom is also spacious and comfortable for a family with Kids. The fully-equipped, functional kitchen is ideal for preparing and serving meals.

Clem très accueillant
Super acceuil. Gîte très sympa à vivre. Spacieux, confortable mais qui nécessiterait un rafraîchissement de la salle de bain. Très bon séjour.

Gîte spacieux, confortable et agréable. Sa localisation permet de randonner facilement, en faisant peu de km.
Le seul tout petit bémol serait sur la qualité des draps qui mériteraient d'être en coton.

Après un très bon accueil chaleureux, nous avons pris possession du gîte correspondant totalement à la description faîte même en mieux : beaucoup de confort, de matériel de cuisine mis à disposition, couchage confortable.
A noter la gentillesse et la grande dispobilité de la personne assurant l'accueil
L'environnement est très reposant au coeur des fôrets de sapins, ou paissent de beaux troupeaux qui fourniront le lait pour la fabrication du comté, du gex, etc...quel régal
Les alentours ne manquent pas non plus d'attraits, que se soit des balades pédestres ou des visites de musées
