With family or friends, come and enjoy all the advantages of this detached house, entirely renovated by the owners. The Holiday cottage "La Parenthèse" welcomes you in a very quiet area.
Located in the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park, at an altitude of 900 m, the village of Longchaumois will charm you with the beauty of its natural surroundings, its calm and its friendly atmosphere.
The ground floor comprises a bedroom with a double bed (140*190), a storage area (bike, skis, stroller...) and a large laundry room. Upstairs, a 35 m² living room with access to a large balcony, a fully equipped kitchen (traditional and microwave ovens, dishwasher, induction hob...), 2 bedrooms each with 1 double bed (140*190), a bathroom with bathtub, a toilet. The house is heated by a pellet stove (supplied), making for cosy evenings by the fire. Board games and books are at your disposal.
You can also make the most of the 1000 m² of private enclosed grounds surrounding the house, complete with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue.
All local shops (butcher, baker, mini-market, cheese shop, Pharmacy, Restaurant, pizzeria) are within walking distance of the rental property.
There's plenty to do on site or in the surrounding area: Hiking, cycling, bike park 2 km away, Nordic skiing 6 km away, Alpine skiing for beginners and tobogganing 4 km away, Jura sur Léman ski area 17 km away for advanced skiers, snowshoeing from the Holiday cottage, swimming, paddling, via ferrata, waterfalls... And why not take a trip to nearby Switzerland!
And don't forget to discover the local crafts and Museums: eyeglasses, lapidary, boissellerie, polar worlds, diamonds, toys...
And for gourmets, a tasting of local products is a must: comté, morbier, Jura wines...
