La Demeure d'Eugénie

This 17th-18th century residence was once the château of Deyle Pierre MAIGNIEN DE MERSUAY, Lord of Mersuay and Bourguignon-lès-Conflans. His great-great-granddaughter, Eugénie de Coucy, was born here in 1791, second wife of Maréchal d'Empire OUDINOT and Duchess of REGGIO. Fully restored and tastefully decorated, it houses two adjoining Holiday cottages, including "La Demeure d'Eugénie". 15 km away, you'll find the Maladière complex: swimming pool, aquagym, aquabike, palmage, aqua cross fit, pedal-boat hire. All services, health center, Doctor, Pharmacy, supermarket, bakeries, butcher's shop, bar/restaurant, tobacconist's 4 km away. Local producers of cheese, vegetables and bison meat. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy their favorite pastime in two 75-hectare lakes and in the Lanterne River, which flows through the village and is classified as a first category fish farm. A 7 km educational trail around the Lake allows you to observe and discover numerous species of birds, including kingfishers, swans, storks and kites... Numerous cycling and Hiking trails nearby.

This detached Holiday cottage, accessible from the courtyard of the main house on the main street, sleeps twelve on three floors.

The first floor includes a fully-equipped kitchen, a room with table soccer and exercise bike, a 10/12-person living room with TV, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, as well as 2 walk-in showers and 2 toilets. Hair dryer. Vacuum cleaner.

On the second floor, three bedrooms:

"Fleurs" with double bed (160x200 cm)
"Boat" with double bed (160x200 cm)
Master bedroom (2 beds 90x190 cm) leading to the "Provençale" bedroom with double bed (160x200 cm).

The third floor features a relaxation area with armchairs, TV, board games and books.

On either side of this area are two "Champêtre" attic bedrooms, one with two single beds (90x190 cm) and one with a double bed (160X200 cm).

Bernard, the host, will be happy to share historical anecdotes about the Duchess and Marshal Oudinot.

Bed linen, towels, final cleaning, heating, electricity and hot and cold water are included. Equipment for babies and young Kids available (Umbrella bed, high chair, changing table with integrated bathtub and children's crockery). Beds made on arrival.
