Le Tournesac

In the heart of the Morvan regional nature park, Tournesac is a renovated former mill on the edge of a 3-hectare private pond, a river and the Forest. It comprises 2 Holiday cottages, which can be rented separately or together. Gîte 9 is the most authentic part of the building, with terracotta floor tiles, French ceilings, fireplace and original cement floor tiles.

The first floor comprises a dining room with fitted kitchen, a beautiful living room with closed hearth fireplace, a shower room and a separate toilet. The living room can accommodate an additional 2 people on a sofa bed.

Upstairs, there's a bedroom with a 160cm bed, a bedroom with 2 90cm beds and a bedroom with 3 90cm beds, 2 of which can be twinned. Bathroom with WC. Holiday cottage 6 is more contemporary. It is located on the 2nd floor in the former attic and has its own entrance accessed by an outside staircase, with a lovely private terrace overlooking the pond.

It comprises a large 48 m² living room with dining area, lounge and fitted kitchen. 3 bedrooms, 2 with 2 twin beds (90cm), one with a 160cm bed, a shower room with WC and a bathroom. An interior staircase links the 2 Holiday cottages together. Baby bed and high chair.

9-hectare grounds with courtyard, parking, garden and access to pond. Terrace in front of the mill, picnic table and beautiful wooden terrace by the pond. No-kill fishing authorized with loan of a boat. 2 pets allowed at a supplement of €20 per stay.

Tournesac owes its name to the river that runs through the property. Kids must remain under their parents' supervision during their stay, as there are streams nearby. Hiking in the surrounding forests. Saulieu: the gastronomic home of Maison Loiseau. Nearby swimming, fishing and water sports: Lake Chamboux and Lac des Settons.
