In a village with shops, independent Holiday cottage on the raised first floor of an old mill where the owners live.
Kitchen with wood-burning stove. Large, bright living room. 3 bedrooms, 2 with 1 x 160cm bed each and the 3rd with 2 twin 90cm beds. Bathroom with walk-in shower. WC. Wood central heating included. Enclosed courtyard 150 m². Access to shared mill garden with swing. Garage for small car.
Heating, wood heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and household linen included in rates. End-of-stay cleaning possible at extra charge. High chair and Umbrella bed available.
Bike route 200 m away through the vineyards from Beaune to Santenay, and Voie Verte along the Canal du Centre. Casino (slot machines) 500 m away. Bicycle hire 1 km away. Wine tasting and sales at the estate. Discover the Vineyard.

Ben Lovely comfortable Gite in Santenay
This is a lovely place to stay in Burgundy. Exceptionally clean and nicely appointed, conveniently 10 minutes' walk outside Santenay, with a fantastic bakery and nice restaurants. It's a minute from the voie vert and you can hire bikes from the Office de Tourisme just down the road. Amandine and Emilien are charming and welcoming and we greatly enjoyed tasting their delicious wines. We certainly discovered a lot about the history of Kir. There's a lovely private outside space with a barbeque where you can watch the world go by. Much recommended if you would like a trip to the vineyards of Burgundy or a trip to see the many sights. We'd very happily stay again.

Alix très chouette séjour
Très chouette expérience dans le gîte de Santenay. Les hôtes sont très gentils et présents en cas de besoin.
Le village est tout près mais la maison est un peu excentrée (à 10 min àpied de la boulangerie) ce qui permet d'être au calme et de se sentir à la campagne.
La route à proximité n'est pas très fréquentée.
Le matériel fourni est de très bonne qualité et il y a tout (nous avions emporté notre appareil à raclette pour les fêtes mais c'etait inutile parce qu'il y en avait un au gîte).
Il y a une cour-jardin fermée qui permet à des petits enfants de jouer en sécurité. Il y a aussi un plus grand jardin avec une rivière qui permet de se défouler.Le logement est au premier étage, mais après tout est de plein pied ce qui est aussi appréciable avec de jeunes enfants.
Le coin salon est éloigné des chambres et chacun peut donc vivre à son rythme.
