ROOFING WORK FROM MID-MAY TO END OF JUNE 2026: SCAFFOLDING ON SITE. In the pretty village of Essey, in the heart of the Auxois, a hilly region renowned for its gastronomic, architectural and scenic treasures, you'll stay in an 8-person Holiday cottage (Semi-detached house). Ground floor: open-plan fitted kitchen, living room and dining room with beams and Burgundy stone. Upstairs, a large landing leads to two bedrooms with double beds (160x200), one with two single beds (90x200) and one with bunk beds (2 x 90x190). 1 bathroom with WC.

An outside area, located at the rear of the house, is entirely reserved for guests and equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. Independent of the house and accessible from the outside, this unfenced area is bordered by a small, little-used path.

Pets allowed: €10/stay (must not be left alone in the house). All-inclusive Holiday cottage: beds made on arrival, bathroom linen (1 bath sheet per person), end-of-stay cleaning, heating and electricity (subject to reasonable consumption).

The region's archaeological and historical heritage, particularly in the Middle Ages, is particularly remarkable. Nearby: Museopark Alesia, Abbaye de Fontenay, Château de Bussy-Rabutin, Forges de Buffon, medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois, Canal de Bourgogne. 10 km from freeway exit.
