Located 200 from the center of the medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois, this beautiful 19th-century historic home has been fully renovated to offer a comfortable holiday cottage for tourists visiting Burgundy. Ground floor: entryway with laundry room, fully equipped kitchen. A few steps lead up to the living room and dining room, featuring a wood-burning stove and air conditioning. Bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. A beautiful antique staircase leads to the bedrooms upstairs: one bedroom with a 140-sized bed and air conditioning, and a large, air-conditioned bedroom with a 160-sized bed and a balcony, connected to the third bedroom, which has two 90-sized beds that can be pushed together. High chair, Umbrella bed. Nespresso coffee machine.

The medieval town of Semur offers a full range of shops and services and remains a living testament to its rich past: fortified gates, ramparts, a keep, and steep alleyways leading to the banks of the Armançon River are worth exploring both day and night. Things to do: the Notre-Dame Collegiate Church, the museum, the tourist train, and the Orle d’Or Tower. Nearby: the castles of Epoisses, Bourbilly, and Bussy-Rabutin; the MuséoParc Alésia; Fontenay Abbey (a UNESCO World Heritage Site); and Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Pont Lake: a developed beach, water play areas… Hiking trails and interpretive trails throughout the canton. The King Chaussé Medieval Festival and the Festival of the Ring in June.
