Near Beaune, the capital of Burgundy, renovated stone Semi-detached house on raised first floor. Dining room with open-plan fitted kitchen. A few steps lead up to the bedroom with exposed stonework and high ceilings: double bed (140cm) and TV lounge area with sofa bed, offering 2 additional beds. Shower room and WC. Private terrace next to the Holiday cottage in the owners' courtyard. Parking in front of the house. Possibility of renting by the night: €85 for 2 people.
Housekeeping, towels, sheets, electricity and heating included in rates.
Numerous wine-tasting cellars in the village. Nearby: the châteaux of Pommard, Meursault and La Rochepot. Beaune, the capital of Burgundy wines, famous for its Hospices, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a stroll along the ramparts or through the Parc de la Bouzaise, or cycle through the Vineyard between Beaune and Santenay. Numerous events: Cinema Festivals, Baroque Music, 'Cours aux jardins'... Numerous restaurants. Hiking in and around the Vineyard. Beaune Beach: 14,000 m² of beach, 4 natural swimming pools, climbing wall unique in France, Restaurant.

Hendrik en Kathy Snoepreisje in de Bourgogne
Op weg naar de Auvergne was dit een aangename tussenstop met bezoek aan de wijnroute, Beaune en Dijon. Het verblijf ligt op fietsafstand van Beaune en op slechts een paar km van Pommard.
Alleen jammer dat het huisje aan een eerder drukke (doorgangs)weg gelegen is. Het gebouw is goed geïsoleerd, maar door het warme weer moesten wij de dakvensters 's nachts openzetten, waardoor wij reeds vroeg in de morgen wakker waren.
Het terrasje op de oprit van de eigenaar is verwaarloosd, maar door de hitte was het beter om binnen te blijven. De fietsen konden wij daar, achter de poort, parkeren.op het terras. De auto niet. Er was wel voldoende plaats voor de auto vóór de deur van het huisje.
Wel iedere dag vers stokbrood en een heerlijke croissant gekocht bij de plaatselijke bakker op 100 m van het verblijf.- Cleanliness

Y. & C. Gîte agréable
Gîte bien situé, 4kms de Beaune et nombreuses visites à faire aux alentours. Propriétaire accueillant. Gîte bien refait, propre en général et fonctionnel. Quelques points de propreté à revoir notamment four, robinetterie douche.
Rien ne manque côté ustensiles et vaisselles. Juste peut-être rajouter 1 torchon vaisselle car 1 seulement cela fait juste.
Dommage que la terrasse extérieure donne dans la cour où il faut sortir du Gîte qui donne sur la rue et ouvrir le portail pour y accéder, pas très pratique et pas trop d'intimité.
Sans l'avoir utilisée, c'est ce que nous constatons.
Sinon, boulangerie et petite épicerie pratique dans le village.- Cleanliness
