L'Auditoire Royal

André and his wife decided to settle in Châtillon-sur-Seine, a village on the borders of the Côte d'Or, Aube and Yonne, in the heart of the Parc National de Forets. They have completely renovated this 16th-century limestone building. This unique place, steeped in history, will provide you with a one-of-a-kind experience.
Once the City Hall, then the Court of First Instance during the French Revolution, then a prison and library, today you'll be staying in a comfortable Holiday cottage. Access is via a large courtyard (not private).
Elevated ground floor: convivial living room with open-plan kitchen and sitting area, library, board games, flat-screen TV. Separate WC. 4 double bedrooms, all with 180x200cm beds (very good quality bedding), including one on the mezzanine. 2 bathrooms, one with WC. WIFI ACCESS.
On sunny days, you can enjoy lunch and relax in the private, south-facing courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue. Bike storage: small room with electrical sockets for recharging.
If you're a lover of old stones and history, or simply curious, discover the Auditoire Royal with its old dungeons, graffiti on wood and stone, and the prisoners' walking yard. Naturally, on request, André will take you on a tour of the premises and transport you through the history of this residence.
