L'Atre

Located 10 minutes from the Alésia archaeological site, the L'Atre holiday cottage is a stone house dating from 1831 that has been authentically restored with Burgundian flagstones, exposed beams, and lime-washed walls.

The ground floor of the holiday cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with a sitting area and a wood-burning stove, and a separate restroom.

Upstairs, there are two connecting bedrooms with hardwood floors, one 160x200 bed—which can be separated upon request—one 140x190 bed, and one Bed 90x190, as well as a bathroom with a toilet. The beds are made upon guests’ arrival. Baby equipment: high chair, Umbrella bed, baby bathtub, safety gate, and accessories. Air conditioning is available upstairs only (in the bedrooms).

Enclosed 280 m² courtyard. Parking. Covered shelter for motorcycles and bicycles. Pets are allowed upon request, but not upstairs.

Near Flavigny-sur-Ozerain and its famous aniseed liqueurs, the source of the Seine, the beautiful village of Salmaise, the Château de Bussy-Rabutin, and the Abbey of Fontenay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Accommodation not suitable for business trips.

Fees and additional charges:
Bath towels: €6 per person for the stay
Electric heating and electricity billed according to meter readings (8 kWh/day included)
A “stère” of firewood billed according to the season and length of stay.
