Enjoy an exceptional stay in this beautiful 18th century mansion in the heart of the medieval City of Semur-en-Auxois.

With its moldings, parquet floors, majestic stone staircase and generous ceiling height, this fully renovated character house offers on the first floor: a dining room with access to the garden, a living room with TV, a fitted kitchen, an office ideal for teleworking in a quiet location, a bedroom with a 160cm bed, a shower room and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, all with oak parquet flooring: a bedroom with a 180cm bed, a bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower, a bedroom with a 140cm bed (accessible via the bedroom with the 180cm bed or the bathroom). An integrated studio with living room, TV and kitchenette, and a bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm). 2nd separate toilet.
Baby equipment: cot, bath and high chair. Reservations 3 nights minimum.
Terrace and 120 m² enclosed garden on busy street side. Private garage with narrow passageway, and public parking lot nearby.
Weekly rate includes: bed linen, 50 m3 gas heating, 150 kwh electricity (100 off-peak, 50 on-peak), 7000 l water. Housekeeping included. Towels optional.
The medieval town of Semur offers a full range of shops and services, and remains a living testimony to its rich past: fortified gates, ramparts, keep, steep streets leading down to the banks of the Armançon river are all there to be discovered day and night. Things to do: Notre-Dame collegiate church, museum, tourist train, Orle d'Or tower. Nearby: Epoisses, Bourbilly and Bussy-Rabutin castles, MuséoParc Alésia, Fontenay Abbey (Unesco World Heritage Site), Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, one of France's most beautiful villages. Lake Pont: equipped Beach, water games... Hiking on 320 km of footpaths and interpretive trails in the canton. Fêtes médiévales du Roi Chaussé and fête de la Bague in June.
