La Villa des Promenades

Located in the Champagne-Burgundy Forest National Park and close to many tourist attractions, this imposing 19th century property comprises two independent villas set in 17,400m2 of parkland with century-old trees and fenced off from one another. The Villas are committed to professional, sustainable and responsible tourism. The business has been awarded the demanding European Ecolabel certification (1st Holiday cottage in Côte d'Or), the "Esprit Parc National" brand and the Ecogests label from Gîtes de France®.

The Villa des Promenades was an outbuilding of the mansion. It is now independent and shares the same wooded grounds. First floor: fully equipped kitchen with dining room and utility room, including laundry room with washing machine and dryer. A 32m2 living room with numerous French windows, allowing you to enjoy, among other things, a beautiful protected terrace not overlooked, with views over the surrounding Countryside and Forest. Calm and serene atmosphere. A wood-burning stove adds to the conviviality and special atmosphere. Bedroom with en-suite shower room (Italian shower) and private WC. Separate toilet with washbasin.
Upstairs: 3 independent bedrooms served by a colonial-style passageway, including 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds (160x200) and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90x200) and 2 bunk beds (90x190). Bathroom with walk-in shower and WC.
Electric heating, wood for the fireplace and electricity are included, as are cleaning, household linen, bed linen and towels.
Pet supplement: €50/pet.

The Villa des Promenades is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. There are 4 steps down to the first floor.

Baby Equipment: Umbrella bed, bed linen, high chair, bathtub, WC reducer, food processor, etc. available on request.

Private terrace and grounds. Ample parking in enclosed area. Unenclosed rear garden in the grounds. The fully preserved property also includes a vegetable garden, orchard, greenhouse, dovecote, kennel, baker's oven and ice house, all of which date from the late 19th century and will be lovingly restored. Outdoor games: table tennis, soccer pitch, bicycles (subject to availability), skittles, pétanque, etc.

A welcome basket of selected local products is offered on arrival.

The welcome booklet is sent with the reservation, and provides information on the many local service providers offering quality products and activities, as well as on nature, heritage, wellbeing, gastronomy and oenology to see and do in the vicinity.

Nearby: numerous castles, Fontenay Abbey, Auberive Abbey, the Forest House in Leuglay, the Crémant de Bourgogne and Champagne vineyards, the Châtillonnais Museums: Trésor de Vix. The Villa is halfway between Paris and Lyon, Troyes and Dijon, Chablis and Beaune.
