Gîte de la Vallée du Rhoin

You'll enjoy an exceptional setting in a Natura 2000 area. The Holiday cottage is located just a few meters from the Rhoin river, under the village cliffs and bordered by the Forest, providing peace and quiet. Numerous hiking and cycling trails start from the Holiday cottage. Climbing enthusiasts can also take advantage of some 400 climbing routes.

Holiday cottage de la Vallée du Rhoin is ideally situated between the Unesco World Heritage wine-growing coast, the Burgundy canal and the Auxois region.

This former semi-detached stone barn has been completely renovated, retaining the original troughs which have been converted into benches. First floor: travertine living room with dining area, TV, fitted kitchen and pellet stove. Shower room. Laundry room and separate WC.

Upstairs: bedroom with 160cm bed. A large room can be used as a TV lounge or as a bedroom with a comfortable 140cm sofa bed, and a mezzanine with 2 twin 80x190cm beds (i.e. 160cm, non-separable). 2nd separate toilet with washbasin.

Courtyard with terrace and parking in front of the Holiday cottage. Secure barn for storing bicycles. Electric heating according to consumption in winter (16kwh per day included). 3 x 15kg bags of pellets included per week, as well as bed linen (beds made on arrival) and final cleaning. Folding bed, high chair and baby bath on request. Owners nearby, as well as a year-round rental (access to the cellar is via the gîte's courtyard).

The owners have preserved the spirit and authenticity of the place by using local objects, while bringing in a modern touch.

Close to Beaune, the capital of Burgundy, famous for its Hospices. Numerous wine villages to visit in the vicinity.

Charges and extras : Electricity and heating according to meter reading (over and above the 16kwh per day included in the price). Towel hire: €5 per person. €6 per additional bag of granules.
