In the upper Côte-d'Or, on the Route du Crémant and at the gateway to Champagne, a renovated former grape-picking area gives this 18th-century stone house lots of character.

First floor with Burgundy tiles, exposed stonework and French-style ceiling: living-dining room with wood-burning stove and sofa bed (2 extra beds possible), fully-equipped kitchen combining modern comfort and authenticity thanks to the beautiful stone sink. Large bedroom with double bed (140cm). Bathroom with walk-in shower and separate WC. Upstairs: bedroom with 2 twin 80x200 beds, shower room and WC. Baby equipment available: Umbrella bed, high chair, bathtub. The house and its outbuildings (not accessible) have a vast enclosed plot of over 1000 m² with vegetable garden and a 600 m² enclosed courtyard at the front.


The village of Molesme has a rich and prestigious past: its abbey was founded in the 11th century by Robert, later known as Robert de Molesme, before he founded the Cîteaux abbey, cradle of the Cistercian order. Numerous historic sites to visit: the abbeys of Fontenay and Clairvaux, the Museums of Châtillonnais-Trésor de Vix, the castles of Tanlay and Ancy-le-Franc... Just 5 km from the Champagne vineyards, you can also take the Crémant route to discover the local winegrowers, on the good advice of the owners, former winegrowers. Leisure activities: beautiful walks in the forests of Châtillonnais, fishing in the Laigne, the Seine or at Lake Marcenay, water sports center in Montbard. All shops in Les Riceys and Laignes.

Charges and extras : Electricity and heating according to consumption (fixed rate of 8 kwh/day included in prices). Bathroom linen: 5 € per person for the stay.
