Gîte de la Marquise

In Val-Mont, on the outskirts of a quiet village 20 km from Beaune, the capital of Burgundy wines, you can discover the "Holiday cottage de la Marquise", located in the east wing of the Château de Coraboeuf (open to the public all year round),

The owners live on site in the main part of the château, and will be delighted to be at your disposal for the duration of your stay.

On arrival, you can bring your vehicle into the Château courtyard to unload it, but afterwards, for the duration of your stay, a parking space will be available for each vehicle in the Visitors' Car Park at the entrance to the Château.

Each of our Holiday cottages has a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher), washing machine and TV in the living room.

In the three bedrooms, you'll find your beds made up and bathroom linen (towels, bathrobes and facecloths) at your disposal. The bedding is 160x200 for two bedrooms, the third can be adapted to two 90x200 beds or one 180x200 double bed (option to be ticked when booking).

In the living room, in addition to the television, we also provide a wide range of books and board games.

For very young Kids, Umbrella beds, high chairs and changing mats are available on request (please let us know in advance).

With fiber optic access now available, wifi is available in every Holiday cottage, but given the thickness of the walls, don't expect so much once you've passed the front door...

Outside, you can stroll around our large park, enjoy your meals, have a barbecue (each Holiday cottage has its own barbecue area), play (shared games are available, including a ping pong table) or simply sunbathe on our deckchairs. For the more sporty of you, there's the possibility of renting bicycles: don't hesitate to ask us beforehand.

For everyone's comfort, our Holiday cottage is non-smoking and does not accept pets. Thank you for your understanding

Nearby: Beaune, capital of Burgundy, and its Hospices, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Great wines of the Montrachet hillside (Puligny and Chassagne-Montrachet). Beautiful walks to the Cirque du Bout du Monde and the cliffs of St Romain and Baubigny. Close to the Ouche Valley and its typical riverside villages, and 50 minutes from Dijon, capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, and its Cité de la Gastronomie.
