Set in the heart of an alpine hamlet of typical stone and slate chalets, Le Petit Chalet is a renovated chalet offering sufficient comfort for a rejuvenating stay: solar panels for electricity, hot water on gas, running spring water (not controlled, so bring bottled water). Access is via a 500 m gravel road (suitable for a passenger car), with parking at the entrance to the hamlet (possibility of unloading in front of the chalet).

Alpine chalet adjoining another chalet at the top of the hamlet. Access through a low door (less than 1.80 m high) into the living area with kitchenette (sink, stove with gas oven, gas fridge/freezer), pellet stove (1st bag of pellets free, extra charge from 2nd bag consumed / see conditions with the owner on site), sitting area (Rapido Express sofa bed for 2 people). Sleeping area in basement alcove, with no access to the outside world (1 mattress 140x190 cm and 1 mattress 80x190 cm on a bed-settee for 3 people). Bathroom (shower and WC) in a vaulted room in the basement (access through a low door less than 1.80 m high). Terrace. Pellet stove: 1st bag free, extra charge from 2nd bag consumed (see conditions on site with the owner).

    Magnifique!! A wonderful stay, close to nature

    A magnificent location and welcome, close to nature, in the Vanoise National Park. A traditional stone house in a summer village that is off the beaten track but full of hidden gems. The welcome from Isabel was perfect, all the neighbours were delightful, there are beautiful views from the chalet, and walks out the front door. What a marvel. We will be back. Great for kids, adults, singles, families, anyone who loves peace and quiet in a natural setting. And views that go on and on

    Parfait !

    Magnifique petit chalet dans un environnement exceptionel en pleine nature. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et toujours présents pour donner des conseils sur les balades à faire dans les alentours. Je reviendrai sans hésiter !

    Une belle expérience

    Un très bon compromis entre l'authenticité du chalet d'alpage : vue, hauteur, vie simple mais sans le total isolement.
    Confort minimal forcément mais avec l'essentiel pour être bien.
    Une magnifique semaine ! Merci

    La tête et les jambes dans les alpages !

    Excellent séjour chez Isabelle et Stéphane, qui nous très bien accueillis, ont été très disponibles et nous ont donné de précieux conseils pour randonner tous les jours. Le Petit Chalet se situe dans un lieu privilégié, dans une nature grandiose, avec la présence d’animaux tout autour, et permet de nombreuses randonnées directement ou à proximité. L’environnement est très reposant et magnifique, parfait pour se ressourcer et se déconnecter. Nous l’avons quitté avec regret !

    Calme et repos

    Très bien reçu, les propriétaires sont disponibles et accueillant le lieu correspond exactement à ce que je cherchais rustique et néanmoins confortable et propice pour se retrouver seul au calme en pleine montagne pour faire des balades ou simplement contempler le paysage.
    Les commerces et autres sont à 20 minutes en voiture, ce qui est très pratique . Je recommande c’est hébergement.
