Brian Excellent central location for skiing and town
Nous sommes venus passer quelques jours à skier, avec l’idée d’avoir la flexibilité d’aller dans l’une des six stations (La Plagne, Les Arcs, La Rosière/La Thuile, Saint-Foy-Tarentaise, Tignes et Val d’Isère) où la neige était la meilleure. Toutes se trouvent à moins de 45 minutes en voiture, et la plupart à environ 30 minutes. Le funiculaire pour Les Arcs est accessible à pied (~500 m). C’était parfait.
L’appartement est situé au 6? étage, avec un joli balcon ensoleillé et une vue sur Les Arcs et La Plagne. Cela ne pose aucun problème, car il y a un excellent ascenseur qui descend jusqu’au niveau du garage, où il y a beaucoup d’espace pour ranger les skis en toute sécurité et où l’on peut entrer et sortir directement en voiture.
L’appartement lui-même dispose de deux chambres doubles très confortables. Nous n’étions que deux, mais je serais tout à fait à l’aise pour y passer une semaine à quatre. Les commerces, bars et restaurants sont immédiatement accessibles à pied, avec une zone piétonne à environ 100 m.
Le propriétaire était très sympathique et s’est montré disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Dans l’ensemble, un excellent appartement que je compte définitivement louer à nouveau !
We came to spend a few days skiing, with the idea of having the flexibility of going to whichever of the six resorts (La Plage, Les Arcs, La Rosière/La Tuile, Saint-Foy-Tarentaise, Tignes and Val d'Isère) had the best snow. All are less than 45 min drive, and most around 30 min. The funiculaire to Les Arcs is walking distance (~500 m). It was perfect.
The apartment is on the 6th floor, with a nice sunny balcony and a view of Les Arcs and La Plagne. This is no problem, as there is an excellent elevator that goes to the garage level where there is plenty of space for secure ski storage and you can drive straight in and out. The apartment itself has two very comfortable double bedrooms. Would be happy spending a week with four people. Easy access to local amenities
