Nestled on the heights of Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte, in the peaceful hamlet of Montlambert, this cocoon is a veritable jewel of tranquility, with panoramic views over the Combe de Savoie valley and surrounding mountains, in an unspoilt natural setting, between vineyards and Alpine peaks, far from the hustle and bustle. Warm and fully-equipped, it's the perfect base from which to discover the region's riches, walk to the famous Montlambert paragliding site, stroll along the Route des Vins and taste Savoie's typical grape varieties at local winegrowers'. You can also swim or fish at Lake Carouge, discover the Château de Miolans, visit the ski resorts of the Bauges (Aillons Margeriaz, La Féclaz) or the Belledonne (Le Collet d'Allevard), or explore the cities of Grenoble, Chambéry or Albertville.

Perched high in the Combe de Savoie region, L'Envol Safrané takes its name from two of the area's special features: Frédéric's farm, which specializes in saffron cultivation, and the paragliding launch site next door. From the Holiday cottage's large, sheltered terrace, you can enjoy incredible views over the valley and the Belledonne massif, set in a peaceful hamlet with no through-traffic.
Access to the property via a narrow communal road for 6.5 km, then a gravelled carriageway, parking on the property (2 spaces). Holiday cottage on the 1st floor of an old renovated barn (accessed via an interior stone staircase) where the farm's workshop is located: living room-kitchen with large covered terrace (35 m2) on the same level as the living room, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed 160x200 cm / 2 single beds 90x190 cm with bunk beds), shower room, wc, laundry room. Large unfenced plot available.

Mamimosa Entre ciel et montagnes
Une très belle surprise ! Au bout d’une petite route, un gîte moderne, chaleureux et une magnifique vue sur la Combe de Savoie et les Alpes environnantes. Un hôte très accueillant, attentionné aux activités peu communes. De belles balades aux alentours et le massif des Bauges à découvrir. Calme et grand air. Merci !

Clo Séjour parfait
Séjour très agréable dans la montagne, au calme, avec une vue imprenable sur les Alpes. Le gîte est formidable, très confortable. L'accueil est excellent. Bref un sans faute, je recommande chaudement l'Envol safrané.

phili0631 Un bonheur pour la vue et le fonctionnement
Difficile de ne pas être heureux après une telle découverte.
Certes le descriptif indiquant l'accès était loin d'être faux (12min de montée ou descente et croisement délicat mais rare), mais le spot en vaut le coup.
Ayant la chance d'être que les 5èmes locataires, nous avons séjourné dans un lieu ultra bien construit, bien aménagé, fonctionnelle et un cadre ultra calme, verdoyant, avec une vue de carte postale matin midi et soir.
Si votre nuit n'est pas complète, vous pouvez même apprécier certains bruits discrets de la nature en vous rendant sur cette véranda ouverte et couverte.
Le propriétaire est super accueillant et est une source intarissable de bons conseils pour découvrir, se restaurer, vous évoquer l'histoire et l'évolution de la région. Il est de plus ultra disponible si il manque quelque chose.VRAIMENT MERCI !!!!!!

Sophie & Bernard Super gite !
C'est une vielle grange refaite à neuf avec beaucoup de goût, dans un hameau isolé : calme absolu ! Le gite est moderne, très bien équipé, très confortable.
La vue sur la Combe de Savoie est exceptionnelle.
Frédéric est très sympathique.

CamSteph Une semaine à Montlambert
Super semaine en famille perchés à Montlambert. L'endroit est magique et tellement paisible ; on ne se lasse pas de la vue extraordinaire sur les montagnes. Plein de chemins de randos au départ de la maison. Le gîte est vraiment super confort et agréable, très bien équipé. Le propriétaire a été très accueillant avec plein de petites attentions pour les enfants et pour nous même. Encore merci pour ce chouette séjour en Savoie!
