Le Klya Des Lanste

We live in a large traditional building in a typical Maurienne hamlet, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park. Our aim is to create a warm and welcoming environment where children can play and relax. The rooms are spacious, with private bathrooms and mountain views. The outside area is a wonderful playground, with plenty of flora and fauna. As an educator in the child protection field, I wanted to change my job to be closer to the children and share with them my passion for discovering the mountains, their traditions and related activities. Daniel, a boarding school teacher, is in charge of the sports dynamic with teenagers and supports me in this project. We want the children to take advantage of our home to experience simple moments, take part in the life of the group, enjoy moments of calm, sharing and effort... always in a good mood!

Activities vary according to the season. In winter: snow games around the hamlet, snowshoeing, tobogganing, downhill skiing in nearby resorts: La Norma, Valfréjus, Aussois. Savoyard evenings: raclette, fondue, hot chocolate and herbal tea by the fire, board games... In summer: mountain hikes, visits to refuges, historical and cultural sites in a fun way. Discover the flora and fauna in protected areas (Parc de la Vanoise), via ferrata, swimming pool, supervised bathing in natural surroundings, cycling, tennis. At the chalet: table tennis, boules, ball games, campfires. All year round: board games, table soccer, cooking workshops, arts and crafts... All equipment is provided and included in the price (except ski passes). Open all school vacations and weekends. Possibility of station pick-up. Stays from Sunday to Saturday.
