Welcome to La Maison de Pagneux, a veritable haven of peace in the heart of the Beaujolais region, in the magnificent Pierres Dorées area nicknamed "Little Tuscany".
This old Beaujolais farmhouse, with its stone walls that catch the sunlight, exudes a unique, warm atmosphere, where every nook and cranny invites relaxation and Wellbeing!
As soon as you arrive, you'll be seduced by the authenticity and charm of the place. Upstairs, the three spacious, air-conditioned Bed and breakfast rooms, decorated with care, reflect the discreet elegance of the house.
A harmonious blend of modern comfort and old-world charm, each room has its own private shower room and toilet, a sitting area and king-size beds.
A large living room on the first floor is available for reading or relaxing.
Outside, a number of terraces allow you to enjoy the calm and serenity of the surroundings, whether for an alfresco breakfast, a moment of meditation or simply to admire the surrounding nature.
The meticulously tended garden is a haven of greenery, while the shaded playground offers a variety of activities (pétanque, Molkky or Breton shuffleboard), for moments of simple entertainment. During the summer months, you can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by a beautiful wooden terrace.
In the morning, Caroline and Bruno will welcome you with a delicious breakfast served on the terrace or in the common room. Then, if you'd like to extend the gourmet experience, the table d'hôtes, by reservation only on certain evenings, offers tasty home-cooked dishes made with local produce. For other evenings, charcuterie and cheese boards are also available on request.
From the outset, the owners have been committed to respecting the environment.

Room: Metal
A more industrial ambience for the "Metal" room, which harmoniously combines past and present. 1 king-size bed (1.80 X 2.00). Lounge area with two armchairs and an antique desk. Large free-standing mirror. WIFI, closet, air conditioning. Parquet flooring. Window with blackout curtains overlooking the estate's inner courtyard and the Bois d'Alix. The metal reinforcement of the ceiling beam connects the bedroom area to the bathroom, which features a large Italian shower (1.20 x 1.20), large washbasin, hair dryer and towel dryer, organic toiletries. Towels for the Piscine provided. Tiled floor in shower room, separate toilet.

This (air-conditioned) attic room is cosy and peaceful, with a queen-size bed (1.60 X 2.00), a sitting area with two armchairs and coffee table, a wardrobe and free-standing mirror, desk. Golden stone walls and parquet flooring. WIFI CONNECTION. Roof window with electric roller shutter over the bed + window with blackout curtains overlooking the estate's inner courtyard. Curtained shower room with vanity unit and wall-mounted mirror (hairdryer, toiletries), Italian shower to right (not suitable for people >1.85m1) and toilet to left, closed by sliding door. Tiled floor. Bathroom linen provided, as well as a pool towel during the Swimming season.

Small hallway opens onto the air-conditioned "Wood" bedroom, which with its refined decor can be converted into a double bed (1.80 x 2.00) or two single beds (extra charge). Parquet flooring. The roof window above the bed, equipped with an electric roller shutter, brings a relaxing brightness and the omnipresence of wood serenity. Lounge area with two armchairs and coffee table, floor lamp, free-standing mirror and a window with blackout curtains, framed by golden stones overlooking the inner courtyard and the Bois d'Alix on the horizon. Wi-Fi, closet, desk. Bathroom with Italian shower, washbasin, towel dryer and hairdryer, toiletries, separate toilet. Tiled floor. Bathroom linen provided, as well as a pool towel during the Swimming season.

En tant qu'hébergeurs chambres d'hôtes, nous attachons une grande importance à nos valeurs fondamentales. Tout d'abord, nous mettons l'accent sur l'accueil chaleureux et personnalisé de nos hôtes. Nous voulons créer une atmosphère conviviale et familiale où nos visiteurs se sentent comme chez eux. Nous sommes toujours enchantés de faire de nouvelles rencontres, de créer de nouveaux liens. De plus, nous sommes engagés dans une démarche de respect de l'environnement, qui a débuté dès la rénovation de la maison, par le choix des matériaux et des énergies utilisés. Nous cherchons à minimiser notre empreinte écologique en adoptant des pratiques durables telles que la gestion responsable de l'eau et de l'énergie, ou l'utilisation de produits locaux et biologiques. Nous essayons de réduire au maximum nos déchets et avons notre propre compost. Témoins de notre engagement : le choix des produits d'accueil (réduction des emballages, shampooing-douche bio produit par une petite entreprise située à Cognac), linge de lit non repassable pour des économies d'énergie,…
Enfin, nous valorisons l'authenticité et l'immersion dans la culture locale. Nous encourageons nos clients à découvrir les traditions, la cuisine et les activités typiques et atypiques de notre région, afin de leur offrir une expérience unique et enrichissante.
Nous croyons que ces valeurs sont essentielles pour créer des souvenirs mémorables et faire de votre séjour une expérience authentique et inoubliable.

Super séjour mille mercis !!
Un accueil irréprochable, un lieu sublime, chambre superbe et très confort, nous avons passé deux très belles et bonnes nuits. Aucune faute de goût, la demeure est canon !!! La piscine était quant à elle, parfaite !
Nous avons extrêmement bien été conseillé pour notre itinéraire touristique et gastronomique ! D’ailleurs, les petits déjeuners était succulent, ainsi que les planches pour le dîners ! Nous avons eu un très joli choix de vin et boissons (avec des explications digne d’un professionnel). Nous avons drôlement apprécié le côté développement durable du gîte avec les produits locaux, produit hygiénique bio, circuits courts…Chers hôtes reviendrons avec grand plaisir, et nous sommes ravis de vous avoir rencontré et d’avoir séjourné dans votre gîte !
