Whether you’re looking for a few days to unwind or a longer vacation with family or friends, come enjoy a rural setting in the heart of the Haut Beaujolais region.
Just 800 meters from the charming little village of Saint-Bonnet-le-Troncy (Roanne is 42 km away and Villefranche-sur-Saône is 40 km away), you can experience its friendly atmosphere at the community-run bar “Au Rendez-vous des Lyonnais” and the gourmet restaurant “La Table du Musée.” On-site, there are plenty of hikes and walks for an active stay.
And just 10 km away, Lac des Sapins offers a variety of nature and outdoor activities: a natural and organic swimming pool unique in Europe, a developed lake, mountain biking, fishing, a tree-top adventure course, and much more.
The holiday cottage is located on an active farm (dairy cattle operation).
Upon your arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome from Bernadette, a former farmer and cheese maker, or from her daughters Gaëlle and Manon. Deeply attached to this family home where they grew up, they’ll be happy to share their favorite spots and tips for exploring the region with you.
The house is part of a complex of buildings that includes the farm, the holiday cottage, and an unoccupied house, ensuring you peace and quiet.
Access to the holiday cottage is through a pleasant veranda.
Ground floor: Large, bright living area (opening onto the terrace) with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room with a TV. Bathroom with toilet. Relaxation area.
Upstairs: 4 bedrooms (1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 3 single beds, 2 bedrooms each with 1 double bed and 1 single bed). Living room/bedroom with a sofa bed for 1 person. Shower room. Separate toilet.
Outside: Laundry room in the former cheese dairy, equipped with a washer and dryer. Terrace with patio furniture offering an unobstructed view of the surrounding Countryside. Barbecue. Enclosed grassy yard, set slightly below the main level, with a playground for Kids.
An ideal place to get together, recharge, and discover the natural treasures of the Haut Beaujolais in a preserved setting.

Bienvenue au Gîte " L'Etoile de Bourvil" ! Nous sommes heureux de vous accueillir dans notre gîte familial ! Ce projet est né d'une envie simple mais profondément sincère de faire vivre cette maison chargée de souvenirs tout en rendant hommage à Jean Luc, un mari et papa, passionné de Bourvil. Tout naturellement, le gîte a pris le nom en souvenir de sa joie de vivre, sa passion pour la chanson et son attachement aux valeurs familiales.
Cette maison appartient depuis plusieurs années à la famille paternelle, c'est ici que nous avons grandi et construit nos plus beaux souvenirs avec notre frère. La famille est au coeur de nos valeurs et nous sommes attachés aux moments de partage, aux retrouvailles et à la convivialité. Nous avons voulu créer un lieu chaleureux où chacun peut se sentir chez soi. Pour vous accueillir, Bernadette qui a été agricultrice et productrice de fromages qui travaille maintenant dans une petite épicerie de proximité, Gaëlle qui est infirmière libérale et Manon , auxiliaire vétérinaire, toutes 3 animées par la même passion pour le contact humain et le soin apporté aux autres.
