Les Chambres de l'Escale

A must-visit destination in Beaujolais: “Les Chambres de l’Escale,” featuring a Piscine and Wellbeing area, right in the heart of the Vineyards and wine regions! Valérie and Franck, who are also owners of a 4-person holiday cottage, have renovated this historic wine estate and tastefully furnished two superb Bed and breakfast rooms.

On the ground floor: a spacious living area reserved for guests, opening onto a terrace and offering a beautiful view of the vineyards; this room, equipped with a stove and reversible air conditioning, includes a dining area for breakfast and dinner, and a sitting area.
Upstairs, the “Fleurie” (16 m²) and “St Amour” (20 m²) each feature a double bed (1.60 x 2.00), reversible air conditioning, a smart TV, and a private bathroom with a toilet. A baby bed can be provided in the “St Amour” bedroom upon request. You’ll receive a warm welcome and can enjoy Valérie’s home-cooked meals at the Table d’hôtes, inspired by traditional regional recipes and made with local or garden-fresh ingredients, along with Beaujolais wines from local producers. Picnic baskets are also available upon request.
Outside, you’ll have access to a spacious courtyard (parking area) and a summer pool (8 x 4 x 1.45 above-ground, open from June 15 to September 15), shared with the Holiday cottage and the owners. The wellbeing area, featuring an indoor hot tub for 6 people, a sink, and a shower, is available upon request from September 15 to June 15 for an additional fee of €20 per person for 1.5 hours of use (bathrobes provided). For a family gathering, you can book the holiday cottage and the two Bed and breakfast rooms (for a total capacity of 8 people).
No dinner service on Sunday evenings, as well as on Wednesday, July 15, Thursday, July 23, and Friday, August 7, 2026.
Auberge des Vignerons is a 5-minute walk from the holiday cottage (open by reservation).
The hot tub is closed from June 15 through September 15. Please reserve the hot tub with the owners when booking your stay.
