Pushing open the gates of this renovated old adobe farmhouse in the heart of the village of Vaulx-en-Velin, you immediately get the impression of being in the Countryside... yet still only a stone's throw from Lyon! A haven of peace and quiet in the heart of the City! Adjoining another self-catering cottage (for 2 people), the Holiday cottage's colorful, friendly atmosphere will win you over from the moment you arrive. Catherine and Jean, your hosts, will be delighted to give you a warm welcome and share their little corner of paradise with you. Ground floor: a large, colorful living room, with a kitchen area completely renovated in 2025, equipped with a central island, ideal for cooking. You'll also find a dining area and a cosy lounge. A shower room with shower, washbasin, washing machine and tumble dryer completes this level. The first floor has three bedrooms: 1 double bedroom with two 140 x 190 cm beds, 1 twin bedroom with two 90 x 190 cm beds and 1 single bedroom with a 140 x 190 cm bed. The courtyard shared by the 2 accommodations, enclosed by a gate, is decorated with antique objects and small finds, giving it a relaxed, bohemian charm. There's also a barbecue, garden table and bench for your moments of relaxation. (The passageway is shared with the owners and occupants of the second adjoining Holiday cottage). Free parking is available on the street, just 50 m away. Only 1 pet per stay is allowed. Whether you're visiting Lyon for business or pleasure, this Holiday cottage is ideally located. Its proximity to Eurexpo, the airport, public transport and the ViaRhôna makes it a perfect base for exploring the region, both by bike and on foot. Close to the Grand Parc de Miribel-Jonage.
