Small detached house on same property as owner's home, at the heart of an extensive, fenced garden with trees. Ideally located, between town and country, close to the city of Lyon and public transport. Accommodation all on 1 level, light & airy interior (wide picture windows) with modern decoration & glowing colours, eco-friendly materials. Accessed via raised terrace (3 steps). Open plan living room (lounge area, dining area, small kitchen area). Small hall. 2 bedrooms (double bed), (2 single beds). Shower room. WC. Washing machine/tumble dryer available in laundry room shared with owner. Outdoors: terrace (wooden deck) without opposite neighbours shaded by a lovely plane tree (garden furniture, deck chairs), private gravelled courtyard, shared garden (cats & dog on-site). Parking on property (owner side), separate pedestrian access (small gate). For business trips the accommodation can be booked for 2 people only.

A lovely base for exploring Lyon
5/5This was a lovely, tranquil home to come back to after busy days sight-seeing in and around Lyon. The host was delightful and the surrounding garden lovely, informal and bigger than we expected. The Little House was stylishly equipped and very comfortable - we had two days of heatwave but stayed cool with the help of a good fan. The train connection from Tassin station (12 mins walk) made travel to Lyon easy and there are good restaurants within a 15 minute walk. The host’s big dog Jimé is very well-behaved and a softie. Thank you for a brilliant week and we strongly recommend to others. Merci beaucoup!

Depuis le début de ces locations courtes ou longues durées , je n'ai jamais souhaité répondre tant aux remarques élogieuses puisque je leur préférai les échanges privés avec ceux dont le séjour s'était bien déroulé et également aux autres qui souvent sont injustes avec toutes ces notes qui nous ramènent à l'école de manière régressive.
Mais pour Penny et Martin je ferai une exception avec le coeur gonflé de tendresse: ils ont été si délicieux, drôles et tout simplement charmants . Un humour so british qui nous a ravit dès leur arrivée.
Si nous devions choisir des hôtes : vous seriez ceux-là.

5/5Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce gîte au calme. Terrasse sympathique donnant sur le beau jardin fleuri à cette époque. Accueil très chaleureux de Catherine toujours disponible.
