Description 2026, subject to modifications for 2027: Please refer to the description sheet validated at the time of booking.

Just 5 km from Beaujeu, the historic capital of the Beaujolais region, discover an authentic holiday cottage set on a sprawling farm. Converted from an old sheep barn, it offers a peaceful and rejuvenating setting, ideal for a weekend in nature, a family vacation, or a getaway with friends in the heart of the Haut-Beaujolais.

On-site, enjoy a unique experience interacting with farm animals: Angora and cashmere goats, Nez Noir du Valais sheep, Highland cows, and horses thrive in an environment that prioritizes animal wellbeing and organic farming.

Access to the holiday cottage is completely private, located at the back of the property and reached via a wooden gate and a private driveway. Outdoor parking is available.

On the ground floor, a few steps lead to a spacious, bright living area featuring a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area, a comfortable living room, and a restroom.

On the lower level, a long corridor steeped in history—where old feeders and mangers have been preserved—leads to the 3 bedrooms and the bathroom: two bedrooms, each with two single beds,
one bedroom with a double bed and a baby bed, a bathroom with a bathtub, sink, toilet, and washing machine, and a storage room.

The beds are made upon your arrival, and bed linens and household linens are provided free of charge.

On sunny days, enjoy a pleasant, private, enclosed outdoor area (not overlooked) furnished with garden furniture, a barbecue, and lounge chairs for moments of relaxation in complete tranquility.

Nature lovers will appreciate the many hiking trails accessible directly from the holiday cottage, allowing you to explore the rolling, unspoiled landscapes of the Haut-Beaujolais.

During your stay, you can tour the farm and discover the fascinating world of Angora and cashmere goat farming. Olivier, your host, enthusiastically shares his expertise in mohair and cashmere production. A farm shop offers products from the farm: clothing, scarves, throws, blankets, natural cosmetics, and gift sets.
And to further explore the local region, you’ll also find a selection of Beaujolais wines and craft beers available for purchase at the holiday cottage.
