Holiday cottage on the farm "La Chèvre et le Paysan": A natural interlude in the heart of the Monts du Beaujolais!

Want to get away from it all for a weekend or a nature break? Welcome to the Holiday cottage "La Chèvre et le Paysan", an authentic place on the slopes of Mont Soubran, in the Haut Beaujolais region.

Here, you'll be staying on a real farm, in an unspoilt natural environment of forests and meadows. The peace and quiet, the landscapes and farm life offer a complete change of scenery.

As goat breeders and cheese producers, we offer you a simple, friendly and warm welcome. On site, you can discover the farm's animals - notably the donkeys Oscar and Idylle - and taste our farmhouse cheeses, available for sale.

An ideal place for nature lovers, there are many walks from the farm to explore the Beaujolais countryside. Close to the GR76, the Holiday cottage welcomes walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders for a stopover in the heart of nature.

The Holiday cottage is on two levels, with no interior communication between floors. On the first floor: a convivial living room with fully-equipped kitchen and relaxation area, a terrace under a pergola to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside (garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue).
Upstairs (outside access): an 8-bed dormitory (including 4 Bunk beds) with shared bathroom facilities (2 washbasins, 2 showers and 2 toilets). One 4-bed bedroom and one 3-bed bedroom - each with en-suite bathroom and toilet.
The Holiday cottage can accommodate groups, hikers or families for a night, a weekend or a longer stay.

Breakfast is available on request (€8).

The entire Holiday cottage can be made private for groups. An additional reception room can also be made available for seminars, training courses or artistic residencies (extra charge: €100/day).

Out of respect for the neighbors and the tranquility of the farm, night parties are not permitted (noise tolerated outside until 11pm).
