In the heart of a hamlet, in the commune of Juliénas, in the Beaujolais region, come and spend a few days vacation in this simple, functional and very well-equipped Holiday cottage located on the first floor of the house of the owners, former winegrowers. Superb views over the Vineyard and, on a clear day, the Alps.
The Holiday cottage comprises a kitchen, a living room opening directly onto the terrace with sitting area (convertible sofa for 2 Kids) and dining area, 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160 x 200 cm), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds), a shower room and a separate toilet.
In fine weather, you can also take advantage of the private tiled terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, as well as an unfenced communal lawn area. Parking in the courtyard.
Ideal for a stay between wine-growing Beaujolais and Saône et Loire (Burgundy). Belleville-en-Beaujolais and Mâcon 20 km away, Villefranche-sur-Saône 35 km. Numerous opportunities to visit producers' cellars to discover the wines and their many aromas.
Minimum stay four nights.

France country stay Julienas
Key factor in this gîte is the view, it is just beautiful. My husband and I drove around the surrounding countryside and it was a new discovery every day and vineyards aplenty. The hosts were delightful and it was a very quiet and peaceful environment. After touring cities it was another side of France to experience.

Marie et sa famille Excellent séjour au Hameau de Vaux
Nous sommes ravis de nos 5 jours de vacances dans le gîte de M. et Mme Debize.
Le logement est spacieux, propre, confortable et bien équipé... et quel plaisir, chaque matin, de prendre son petit-déjeuner face aux coteaux, vignes et collines environnantes !
Nos hôtes se sont montrés très accueillants et serviables. Nous avons eu un petit souci avec notre voiture et Mme Debize n'a pas hésité à nous conduire chez le garagiste pour la récupérer. Merci encore !
Julienas est idéalement situé pour explorer le Beaujolais et ses vignobles, le sud Bourgogne (Solutré, Cluny, etc.), la Bresse et la Dombes (Monastère de Brou, Pérouges, Ars, etc.).

Davies Gite Hameau de Vaux
With a beautiful location and a very warm welcome from the proprietors, this was a perfect base for our stay in Beaujolais. The gite was clean and well-appointed; it completely suited our needs. The beds were a little hard and we would have preferred duvets to blankets, but otherwise the provision of furniture and utensils was excellent. We would certainly recommend this gite to others and we would be very happy to stay there again.
