Just 10 km from Lake des Sapins—with its large natural swimming pool and many nature activities—in the Haut Beaujolais region, the modern and fully air-conditioned Holiday cottage du Moulin welcomes you to a quiet, lush setting, ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer, relaxing or active vacation.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the on-site facilities: a soccer field, a children’s playground, and a tennis court, with rackets provided free of charge by the owners. The village center, with its shops and services, is easily accessible, while the city of Roanne is just 20 km away. This prime location is perfect for exploring the region and enjoying the many hiking trails and landscapes of the Beaujolais Vert.

Located in the same house as the owners, the guest accommodation features completely separate access and a large private yard (unfenced) perfect for family games, games of pétanque, or simply relaxing. At the back of the property, a charming little river offers a pleasant, shaded spot where you can relax and dip your feet on hot summer days.
Completely renovated, it will charm you with its modern comforts, tasteful decor, and amenities designed for your wellbeing. Air conditioning and window screens ensure peaceful nights’ sleep.
Ground floor: Living area comprising two spaces: a living room with a TV and an extra sofa bed that can be converted into a sleeping area if needed, and a fully equipped, functional kitchen with a dining area.

Upstairs: Two comfortable bedrooms, each with a double bed (one 140 cm bed and one 160 cm bed), and a large bathroom with a toilet.

Outside and directly adjoining the house is a private terrace with patio furniture, a barbecue, lounge chairs, and a parasol so you can fully enjoy sunny days.

Upon prior request, we can organize nature walks and picking excursions to help you learn to identify edible wild plants in their natural habitat. A fun and enriching experience that will delight lovers of nature, botany, and local cuisine.
