Gîte du Mortier

This Holiday cottage is ideally located in the Lyonnais region, near the COURZIEU wildlife park (eagles and wolves) and the Couvent Ste Marie de La Tourette d'EVEUX (architect: Le Corbusier, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2016). It is housed in a restored former farmhouse typical of the Coteaux du Lyonnais (19th c.), which has been awarded the "Fondation du Patrimoine" label. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the owners' house and a second Holiday cottage, and has completely independent access and grounds, with an enclosed, grassed inner courtyard, portico and covered courtyard typical of houses in this region. Many period features (exposed beams, wooden doors, flagstone floors, old doors, etc.) have been preserved inside. On site, you'll be able to discover works by Lyon-based painter and engraver Marcel ROUX (1878-1922).

The Holiday cottage is on the first floor. 1st floor: large living room with wood-burning stove, fitted kitchen. Shower room/wc. 1 bedroom (2 single beds). 2nd floor: 3 bedrooms (1 double bed in each), bathroom with wc. Laundry room (washing machine). Electric heating and wood heating.
