Superb stone gîte with Nordic bath in the hills above Beaujeu, the historic capital of the Beaujolais region.

Detached hillside house with exceptional views of the Countryside, Vineyard, Beaujeu village and, on clear days, the Alps in the distance.
It has been tastefully renovated. The stone walls have been preserved. Waxed concrete floors on the first floor and wood flooring on the first floor offer great comfort (underfloor heating). Lighting in each room enhances the spaces.

Access to the entrance (on the intermediate level) via a sloping surface and a few steps. Day room (living room, kitchen and dining area). 1 double bedroom (1 x 140 cm bed) including washbasin and shower. Separate toilet.
On the upper floor (accessed via a beautiful wooden staircase with wrought ironwork by a local craftsman): hallway, 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160 cm)), shower room, separate toilet.
On the first floor with independent access (inclined from the road): living room with equipped summer kitchen (small wine cellar with possibility of buying wines produced by the owner), 1 toilet and laundry room.
Bed linen and towels provided at no extra charge. Baby bed (Umbrella bed) on request.

Outside, several unenclosed terraced areas: 2 tiled terraces, including a large terrace with a Nordic bath (available at extra charge and on request from the owners) and garden furniture with parasol, 1 small gravel courtyard, 1 lawned area with trees. Electric table barbecue available, parking spaces in the courtyard for 2 vehicles (additional spaces available in a dedicated roadside area), shaded and floodlit pétanque court.

Wonderful walks nearby, with extraordinary views over the steep Vineyard.
