Welcome to Chambost-Longessaigne, a peaceful village located at the gateway to the Loire Valley and in the heart of the lush green countryside west of Lyon.
Easily accessible from the A89 highway, you’ll be charmed by this contemporary and spacious holiday cottage, tastefully decorated with a “Birds and Trees” theme. It features generous rooms, open spaces, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering superb views of the surrounding Countryside. On-site parking (2 vehicles).
Located in a completely detached wooden Chalet on its own wooded lot, near the home of the owner, Odile—who will give you a warm welcome—the Chalet is accessible at ground level via a ramp, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility.

A covered balcony/porch runs the entire length of the south-facing facade, offering guests several areas for relaxation and socializing (with patio furniture and lounge chairs), including a covered terrace in the center.

The accommodation, spread over several levels, offers generous living spaces as well as a peaceful atmosphere thanks to its many windows and doors opening onto the outdoors:
First area: a spacious living room featuring a fully equipped kitchen with ample counter space—perfect for preparing delicious meals—a dining area, and a sitting area with a wood pellet stove for cozy moments.
Second area: a hallway leading to the laundry room, as well as the bathroom and separate toilet, both of which are wheelchair-accessible (wide doors, grab bars, etc.).
Third area: a relaxation/reading nook with armchairs opening onto the covered terrace, plus two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds). The bedroom with the double bed opens onto the balcony, perfect for idyllic mornings waking up to birdsong… Enjoy breakfast outdoors and admire the trees and their changing colors throughout the seasons.

Just 5 km away, the village of Panissières offers all the shops and services you need for a peaceful stay.

The owner prefers arrivals on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday rather than on other days of the week.
