ALL INCLUSIVE - Stay at the "Art gîte" in the heart of the medieval village of Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise!
You'll love the warm, lively atmosphere of this beautiful corner of the Auvergne! The gîte is located on the second floor of a village house above the owner's artist studio-expo, specializing in linocuts, lithographs and paintings! We love: the artworks and the creative atmosphere of the gîte!
- The second floor comprises a bright open-plan living room/kitchen (with oven, microwave, dishwasher, raclette machine, toaster, coffee maker), a pretty bedroom with private open-plan shower room and a separate toilet.
- On the second floor, there's a bedroom (without door) with two 90cm beds and a private shower room/wc.
Outside, you'll enjoy a private 30m² courtyard/garden with garden furniture and barbecue! Access to the outdoor area is via the staircase shared with the workshop.
WIFI ACCESS. Free public parking 20 meters away.
Shuttle bus to Super-Besse ski resort just a few minutes' walk away!
Numerous leisure activities nearby for your vacations: medieval village of Besse, Super Besse ski resort, Lac des Hermines water sports center, outdoor sports (hiking, mountain biking, etc.), gastronomy, watercolor sketching (see directly with the owner)...

5/5Gite conforme a la description, accueil de Marc et Nathalie super, la localisation de ce gîte est parfaite pour les visites et randonnées très nombreuses et variées dans la région. Il ne manquait rien pour nous faire passer un très bon séjour. Le village de Besse est très beau, pittoresque et son marché le lundi superbe.

Super séjour
5/5Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte très confortable, très bien équipé et très bien situé dans un village typique et vivant, au coeur d'une région pleine de randonnées et de visites. Ne pas hésitez à visiter l'atelier d'artiste du propriétaire (situé en dessous du gite)qui partage volontiers son savoir-faire.
Cependant 2 petites remarques qui , je le précise, n'ont en rien entaché notre séjour mais qui méritent d'être faites:
- bien préciser dans le descriptif la non-accessibilité du gîte aux personnes à mobilité réduite ( escalier pour accéder au gite), voire même aux enfants en (très)bas-âge , de par la configuration de l'escalier pour monter à l'étage
- un volet ou rideau ou store occultants sur la fenêtre de la pièce principale serait un vrai plus, l'étage n'étant pas fermé, le jour peut-être gênant surtout en été.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances d'hiver à l'Art Gîte.
Le logement est tout à fait conforme à la description: lumineux, confortable, très bien équipé. Idéalement situé, à proximité des commerces, restaurants et loisirs.
