Welcome to this charming house, renovated in the spirit of the old paper mills, nestled in a peaceful hamlet in the Livradois-Forez Natural Park. Situated at an altitude of 780 m, the Holiday cottage offers an exceptional panoramic view over the Ambert valley, and is the ideal place for a peaceful stay in the heart of unspoilt nature. Nature lovers will appreciate the many Hiking trails in the immediate vicinity of the Holiday cottage, including the paper mill trail with direct access from the house, as well as the peddler's trail to the Col des Supeyres, around 30 minutes away. This Holiday cottage comprises on the first floor: - A cosy living room with wood-burning stove - An authentic vaulted cellar Upstairs: - A bedroom with a double bed (120cm) - A bedroom with a double bed (140cm) and a single bed (90cm) in an alcove - A bathroom with WC Outside, the wooden terrace and enclosed grounds allow you to take full advantage of the panoramic views and peaceful surroundings.
Private parking is available 150 m from the Holiday cottage, and luggage can be unloaded in the immediate vicinity (25 m) on arrival and departure.

Just 5 km away, Ambert offers a wealth of things to see and do, including the old City, the traditional Thursday morning Market, the Musée de la Fourme d'Ambert, the Moulin Richard de Bas (within walking distance of the gîte), the bicycle-railway, the tourist train to La Chaise Dieu, a lake and a swimming pool, as well as the outdoor activities of Prabouré (35min), le Puy en Velay (1h), the cheese route and the Garden for the Earth.
