Your gîte is located at the foot of the basaltic mound of Puy-Saint-Gulmier. At its summit, you'll enjoy an exceptional view of the Dômes mountain range, the Sancy massif and the Millevaches plateau.
Nearby, you'll discover the Sioule gorges, renowned for their fabulous fishing spots, the impressive Queuille meander and the Viaduc des Fades velorail, an exceptional work of art.
Our region also offers countless opportunities for rejuvenating walks and hikes, in the heart of wild and authentic natural areas. Take advantage of your stay to discover the Auvergne volcanoes, climb the majestic Puy de Dôme aboard the Panoramic des Dômes, visit Vulcania or the Volcan de Lemptégy. Shops and services are available in Herment (9.5km) and Pontaumur (14km), but don't forget the fairs, markets and farm visits for local produce.

Formerly a workshop, the gîte has been renovated in keeping with the region's traditional buildings, using healthy, local materials.
The first floor features:
-the kitchen opening onto the living room with wood-burning stove.

On the 1st floor, under the original roof frame, you'll find:
-a bedroom with a double bed (possibility of a crib)
-a shower room
-separate WC

Unenclosed grounds of 500m2 with fruit trees and a generous supply of apples and plums.
