Gîte Les Nougats

Located in the commune of Saint-Donat, near Picherande and at the gateway to the Cantal region, this authentic stone house welcomes you to a secluded hamlet in the heart of nature.

Adjoining an unused barn, the Holiday cottage enjoys a peaceful, unhurried environment, ideal for recharging your batteries. Hiking enthusiasts will particularly appreciate the trails that start directly from the house: an invitation to explore the unspoilt landscapes of the Massif du Sancy, between mountain pastures, forests and volcanic panoramas.

Access to the Holiday cottage is via the main door opening onto the living room. A second entrance on the side of the house leads directly to the second floor - particularly useful for unloading suitcases or accessing bedrooms.

The Holiday cottage comprises on the first floor:
- a kitchen opening onto a living/dining room
- bathroom with shower and bath
- separate toilet
- laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer

1st floor :
- three bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (140cm)
- one bedroom with two 90cm beds
- separate WC
- a shower room

In summer, enjoy the pleasures of the water at the Lake de La Tour-d'Auvergne, ideal for family bathing. You can also visit the magnificent Lake Lastioulles, in the Cantal region of France, renowned for its clear waters, beaches and water sports.

In winter, several ski resorts are within easy reach:
The small, family-friendly resort of Chastreix-Sancy, perfect for beginners and quiet breaks.
The larger resorts of Le Mont-Dore and Super Besse, offering Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing and a wide range of winter activities.

Whatever the season, this house is an ideal base for lovers of wide-open spaces, nature sports and relaxation.
