Located in the heart of the Livradois-Forez Natural Park, this stone-built holiday cottage adjoining the owners' house welcomes you to a peaceful, green setting. A few steps lead up to the outside.
It comprises :
First floor:
- a kitchen opening onto a living-dining room with wood-burning stove
- separate toilet
1st floor:
- bedroom with two 90cm beds
- bedroom with double bed (140cm)
- a bathroom with WC
The garden, shared with the owners, offers a breathtaking view of the Livradois-Forez hills. A peaceful, natural setting, ideal for relaxing or enjoying breakfast or dinner al fresco.
Many activities: Hiking, mountain biking, Fishing, Cross-country skiing and Alpine skiing, Swimming at the Saint-Anthème Lake, Montpeloux Volcano or cultural discoveries with the Richard de Bas Mill, the cities of Ambert and Thiers (cutlery), etc...
And don't miss the weekly markets in Saint-Anthème, Viverols or Ambert, where you can sample local delicacies and meet local producers.
Michèle, Marc and their dog will be delighted to help you discover the Hautes Chaumes, the local flora and fauna and the region's hidden treasures.

Chaval Vacances ressourçantes en famille
Gîte fidèle à la description, endroit calme, paisible et agréable avec une jolie vue et un accès au jardin, qui a fait le plaisir de nos enfants. Accueil des hôtes agréable et beaucoup de brochures touristiques à disposition.
Nous souhaitions passer une semaine au calme, dans la nature et dans un endroit apaisant, c’est exactement ce que nous avons trouvé au gîte du Lac à Saint Romain.- Cleanliness

Elly Biss Ausflüge rund um Ambert
Geplant war ein Zwischenaufenthalt in der Gegend von Ambert. Unsere Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam, aber unaufdringlich. Gerne haben wir uns abends im Garten aufgehalten. Vom Haus ist es jeweils eine kurvenreiche Fahrt zu den interessanten Orten, die wir gerne auf uns genommen haben. Einen kleinen Spaziergang haben wir direkt vom Gite unternommen, wäre es nicht so heiß gewesen, sind auch längere Wanderungen von dort aus denkbar.

Randonneurs Une semaine en vallée d'Ance
Gîte très agréable au calme à la campagne. Bonne isolation et chauffage suffisant. Équipement cuisine complet, et de la place pour ranger ses affaires. Mention spéciale pour le grand confort du matelas 2 places. Tous les commerces à 10 minutes à Saint-Anthème.
Excellent accueil des propriétaires (merci pour la confiture de mûres).
Dans les environs, beaucoup de circuits de randonnée de tous niveaux et bien balisés.- Cleanliness

Camille et Arthur Deux beaux jours passés ici
Accueil très chaleureux ! Nous avons été bien guidés, accueilli et conseillés notamment pour les activités locales / balades.
Le chien des propriétaires, Jaffar, a été un très bon compagnon. Ferclou, bar restaurant local, fut fort sympathique.
Le logement était propre, équipé, rangé. Il y a même des jeux de sociétés !Nous serions ravis de revenir pour le gîte, le paysage et Jaffar !
