Quietly situated in the Auvergne countryside, close to Issoire and its superb 12th-century abbey church, this large, charming, independent gîte comprises: a large living/dining room/kitchen on one level, two bedrooms (5 steps to access), each with a double bed, a single bed (crib if required), and a shower room with toilet.
The enclosed courtyard and terrace are ideal for barbecuing and relaxing. Private parking.
Ideally situated for exploring the beautiful listed villages of St Floret, Montpeyroux and Usson, where you can follow in the footsteps of Queen Margot, or for hiking in the Monts du Sancy and the Auvergne Volcanoes Natural Park, including the recently UNESCO-listed Chaîne des Puys, visit the Vulcania theme park, meet Vercingetorix on the Gergovie plateau, follow Blaise Pascal in the beautiful town of Clermont-Ferrand, swim or fish in the many lakes, not forgetting the gastronomic delights (Auvergne is a platter of cheeses, well accompanied by Auvergne wines!)
