You'll love the large outdoor spaces adjoining the property. The owner, an organic farmer, will be delighted to show you around his farm. For the more courageous, and depending on the season, you can take part in the farm's activities: harvesting, haymaking, gardening, feeding the animals (chickens and alpacas), flour production.... The Domaine de Longat is vast, and you'll be able to stroll in peace and quiet outside private areas. The gîte is on one level. You'll enter the living room with its cosy lounge and wood-burning stove, and fully-equipped, modern fitted kitchen. Two bedrooms: one with 2 90cm bunk beds (the top bunk is not suitable for children under 6) and another with a 160cm bed. A shower room with large shower and WC. For your comfort, the price is all-inclusive: heating, wood, sheets, towels and cleaning. Great care is taken to ensure the quality of bedding and towels. Numerous activities in the vicinity, with direct access for hiking: the town of Issoire with its Romanesque church, the Vallée des Saints at Boudes (an unusual site, worthy of western landscapes), the most beautiful Villages in France at Usson and Montpeyroux, the Animal Park at Ardes sur Couze... You'll also be well placed to discover the Massif du Sancy. Shops and services in Saint-Germain-Lembron 1.5km. The farm also hosts a small camping site.
