Saint-Sauves d'Auvergne, a listed tourist village at the foot of the Auvergne Volcanoes, overlooks the Haute Dordogne valley. Ideally located within the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, the Holiday cottage is within easy reach of the spa resorts of La Bourboule and Mont-Dore, the Monts du Sancy, Lake Chambon, Lake Guéry and Servières, the Parc Naturel de Millevaches in the Limousin and the City of Clermont-Ferrand, just 1 hour away.
The accommodation comprises two adjoining Holiday cottages. The first floor comprises a closed kitchen, a living/dining room and a separate toilet. On the second floor: a bedroom with a double bed (140cm), a bedroom with a single bed (90cm), a bedroom with three single beds (90cm), a bathroom and separate WC. Outside, you can enjoy the unenclosed garden planted with pine trees, which is also the municipal park. Heating included for your comfort. Wifi nearby. Shops and services in Saint-Sauves-d'Auvergne 300m away.
Please note that the owners only allow a maximum of one pet in their Holiday cottage.

    Gite pratique

    Gite très pratique avec un bon rapport qualité/prix.
    Pour des vacances d'hiver, le gite est bien chauffé avec un sas d'accès à la pièce principale.
    Il manque peut-être un espace pour le stockage du matériel de neige.
    Petit défaut d'isolation phonique entre chambres, avec les voisins et au niveau du vitrage quand le vent souffle fort, mais ce n'est pas insupportable.
    Pas de wifi mais la 4G passe bien.
    Au niveau de l'environnement, le gite est bien situé avec une vue sur les alentours et un tilleul remarquable.
    Le village est typique de l'Auvergne montagnarde, très mignon (petites maisons en pierres et ardoises) et avec les commerces essentiels.
    La route pour la Bourboule et le Mont-Dore est bonne et bien déneigée.

    Ce gîte couplé à celui qui est mitoyen est idéal pour accueillir la famille.
    Un bémol : parking limité en nombre de place. Un éclairage automatique serait bien venu sur les places de parking "en bas"

    sejour très agréable

    Le gite est très agréable et confortable à l'intérieur. Le seul inconvénient c'est que ce gite étant mitoyen, il n'y a aucune intimité pour manger à l'extérieur, car aucune séparation du terrain devant la maison. Pour l'été ca ne donne pas envie de faire du barbecue...

    Concernant l'intimité, il est bien précisé dans l'annonce que l'hébergement comporte deux gîtes mitoyens et que le jardin non-clos sert également de parc municipal.
